Maybe we should call the HC reform RomneyCare. It
is, after all, quite similar to what was passed in MA. Now the voters there are
warming up more toward Single Payer. If this reform were a putt, it would be
short and to the right. I guess Obama was being a practical politician, but
that's not why I voted for him. I really thought he would push harder for the
public option. He has half the union members mad at him for not passing
card-check. I'm not sure what Independents expected, but he didn't deliver for
them either, I guess. In the mean time, I will continue campaigning for
SPANOhio.org. Maybe we can get Ohioans Improved Medicare for All and show
Congress with other states making the effort what we can do. I don't like the
changes any more than most, but, looking at the picture logically, it seems the
time has come for the inevitable. The longer people remain ignorant of the
truth hidden by the medical industry, the more it will cost before its fixed.
We certainly cannot afford to wait.
